take time and listen.

I refuse to pretend like im perfect!
as i write this im sure the comma's and the periods wont be in the right place.
i know for a fact i'll mis-spell words! i know that i will make tons of run on sentences.
this is the story of my life, i suck at alot of stuff and im so so at a few things, but one im good at is picking myself back up when i fall short and going forward. It might not be over night, but i do it.
God has been there for me every step of the way, giving me that boast when i need it, hit me in the head when i need that too! lets face it folks we all feel that help from God everyday, but we get so caught up in the moment, with life and all its dramas, we just dont take notice! When was the last time you just was still and tried to listen to God??? Im speaking to myself as well!
Sometimes i have to force myself to listen. When i heard that kanye had a new song out, i searched and searched the net to find it! im a huge fan, and when i found it i listen to it with delight about 4 times in a row! Then i thought to myself when was the last time i read a bible verse thats encourging and full of love 4 times in a row??? I want that same passion for the word of God that i have for my love of music, I want God to be first, so when i fall what he has said and what he stands for builds me up. take time out, listen and seek, no matter if your having the worse day of your life or your on top of the world...
